Capturing the beauty of the world through my lens
Architecture
Architectural Photographers focuse on capturing the design, form,
and structure of buildings and living spaces in general.
They document on how light creates dynamic shadows and highlights and how buildings, structures, space and colors interact with their respective surroundings. This also includes the interiors of buildings.
I am fasctinated by architecture of any style, century and culture. I take pictures of living spaces, buildings, landscape architecture and architecture of the interior.
One of the aim of my photography is to try to present the diversity of architecture. A further aim is to show how architects use colors, structures and patterns in their designs.
Through the shear endless opportunities to capture architectural structures, it has been a challenge to only select a few images for this website.

Street
Architectural and street photography are two distinct yet
complementary genres that explore the built environment and human
interaction within urban life.
Street Photography captures moments in public spaces, mainly cities. They document the everyday life of people, mostly without the subjects being aware of being photographed. Therefore photographers often navigate the fine line between capturing life and respecting individuals’ rights.
Overall, street photography is a powerful way to explore, document and tell a story about the world around us.
I try to capture us interacting in urban spaces. My success in taking snapshots and humorous situations in daily life is rather rare, so much time for observation and above all patience is required to catch those moments, always respecting the individuals and without provoking confrontations.
Hereafter a small collection of streetlife and street or public art.

Reportage
Reportage photography, also known as documentary photography or
photojournalism, is a style of photography focused on storytelling and
documentation. The stories, whether they are about a specific event,
cultural setting, or social issue are very often displayed as a set of
images.
They allow the viewer to catch the message the photographer wants to transmit.
Reportage photography therefore often aims to evoke emotions and reactions.
To me Reportage photography is often identical to street photography with the difference that I try to assemble those images in such a way, that a meaningful story or message is created. To this purpose I only use up to nine images, trying not to destroy the message or bore the viewer.
